Erin and Owen's father, sure that Nessie had devoured his children, drops dynamite across Loch Ness. The tunnel is collapsed and Erin and Owen now must find another way home. In Mythatania, Erin and Owen meet up with sons and daughters of the Elders Council, better known as "The Mythfits." They join Unee the Unicorn, Pegora the Pegasus, Abbtor the Yeti, and Salandra the Sasquatch as they endeavor on a quest to return Ulee the Great's (Unee's great-grandfather) Golden Unicorn Horn from the lair of Nogard Eci. The Golden Horn was the price paid for entrance to Mythatania, causing the Unicorn's horns to glow golden no more. Their advantage is a book, "Nogard Eci's Tome of Mythical Creatures and Artifacts," which describes all the creatures of Mythatania. The downside is that the sinister "Moan the Minotaur" and his dark minions will stop at nothing to get the book, destroy the good creatures of Mythatania and begin a conquest of the outside world. All this transpires as Erin and Owen try to find their way home, aided by The Mythfits of course.

WATER FALLS IN MANHATTAN written by Brian P. Katz & Maria Rosenblum
Sonja, a 28-year-old cater-waiter, lives with her boyfriend, Anthony, 29-year-old writer of an independent comic book, _Neutron Girl_, in a prewar building in the Lower East Side. Their world isn't as hip as it may seem based on their age, friends, and neighborhood. Their lusterless reality, however, takes a sharp turn after their apartment is flooded and all their belongings destroyed by an unexplained water tower explosion on the roof of their building. Forced to move into Sonja's mother's house, the couple enter the world of an older, eccentric New York -- a world even further removed from the gloss of media expectations. Anthony, falling in and out of the fantasy of his comic book, struggles to rebuild his lost manuscript; and Sonja comes to terms with the fact that she's may be more than a character in Anthony's graphic novel -- she may be Neutron Girl in reality.
