synopsis
CROSSED is an independent action thriller that introduces us to young assassin named Frank Archer who obsesses over the horrifying experience of seeing his father, once an assassin himself, die at the hands of an unknown assailant. Desperate for the truth and guilt-ridden over his inability to save his childhood hero, Frank quickly follows in his father’s footsteps as a killer for hire in a seedy underworld dominated by his mentor and mob boss Borriello.
As the years go by and his more personal relationships begin to crumble in the wake of his quest for redemption, Frank becomes impatient with its inability to bring light to his haunted past and decides to dig deeper. When he does, Frank discovers the return of another even more sadistic assassin known only as “The Ripper� whose brutal methods and relentless onslaught of Borriello’s empire suggests an even deeper connection to the night of his father’s death than he could have ever imagined.
Through their eventual encounter Frank reveals not only the stark truth that had been eluding him for the past five years, but an even more shocking one about the reality of his job and the person he has become. Directed and edited by first-time f eature filmmaker Stolis Hadjicharalambous and written by Christopher J. Otis, who plays Frank Archer,CROSSED is a throwback to the darker, grittier action movies of past generations.CROSSED hopes to serve audiences a tale of lies, twists and intense action sequences.
biography
Stolis Hadjicharalambous has been a filmmaker since his early years at Msgr. McClancy Memorial High School where he directed many short films and music videos. When away from his editing suite, Stolis attends the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York City to further pursue his education in film studies.
